Knowing that the movie franchise of Harry Potter is over once both parts of the final book’s adaptation are released makes me sad. It also makes me feel like an adult.

I started reading the JK Rowling book series in middle school and have reread each book before the movie version came out since then. Well, almost every book. I skipped the last one because I was in summer school in college at the time and had other things I should have been reading instead, but I plan on re-reading the last book before its first movie installment. I also make sure to keep up with filming with wild blue internet packages.

One of the things that I’m most interested in is seeing where the filmmaker is splitting the book between the two movies. I think I have a good idea, but I’m avoiding spoilers on direct tv internet service so there will be some element of surprise.

One thing that I’ve always admired about the movie franchise is that it never tries to leave big cheap cliffhangers like a lot of others (i.e. “Pirates of the Caribbean”). Which for this, there will naturally be a cliffhanger leading to the next movie, but I’ll accept it since they are splitting the book in two for it.
